| The flake ice evaporator serves as the core heat-exchange component of the ice-making unit. Refrigerant circulates within the cylindrical body to facilitate heat exchange, forming a uniform layer of ice on the inner wall, which is then continuously scraped off by a blade mechanism to produce flake ice. The unit features a stationary vertical design: the evaporator cylinder remains fixed while an internal scraper rotates along the inner wall to harvest the ice.
